Reimagining Proton Drive cloud storage with Nimbo The Cloud, a satirical creative campaign that warns about unsafe cloud providers through nostalgia and surprise.
Proton is a privacy-first, tech company. Drive is their end-to-end encrypted cloud service. The goal was to make data privacy feel urgent, emotional and culturally relevant beyond tech circles.
Cloud storage messaging is often dry or technical. Proton needed a way to cut through noise, connect emotionally and make privacy feel like something people actually care about.
Recognsing that parent’s spend 25 hours a month watching kid’s programming we created Nimbo, a dark, toy-commercial parody that starts nostalgic and ends with a warning about Big Tech cloud risks, spotlighting Proton Drive as the safer choice.
We made privacy feel real with a surreal throwback toy-ad twist on cloud storage.
